About Brenda Buratti
Brenda Buratti is a media executive, writer, and speaker.  Her work as a television writer, field producer, and executive producer has been honored with the industry's most prestigious awards including regional Emmys, the Iris award, and the George Foster Peabody award. Her television work has taken her around the world, including Japan, Nepal, Mexico, and Brazil.

She is dedicated to leading and making a difference in people' s lives through the power of the written, spoken, and televised word.

Her career in a rapidly-changing and interruption-rich environment led her to writing and speaking about time management. She found the traditional methods of time management were inadequate for the frantic pace of what she calls the email hurricane, voice mail hell, and the 26/7 world of downsizings and intense competition.

Ms. Buratti holds a B.A. in communication arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She began her career at WHA-TV, the public television station in Madison. From there she moved to Portland, Oregon to work at KOIN-TV, where she became a senior producer at the age of 23. She then joined KGW-TV in Portland, where she became known industry-wide for developing innovative local television programming and marketing. She quickly rose through several management positions and is currently the Director of Creative Services and Programming.

Ms. Buratti is married with one child. She lives in Oregon.
